I just want to know if anyone knows the different places we can donate our cord blood? We cannot afford to pay the fees ourselves and I did hear someone on here say how she donated hers to the local K-9 Unit.. anyone know where else we can donate it to rather then telling the hospital to just get rid of it?

How Many Are Going To Save The Umbilical Cord Blood…?

I’m 27 weeks pregnant and my husband and I are trying to decide if we should save the umbilical cord blood. We feel that it might be a good decision but we’re just trying to get the opinions of other couples who are expecting. Any advice is greatly appreciated!!

My doctor said we need to decide whether we want to save our baby’s cord blood when it is born. Did you opt to do this, and how much did it cost? There are about 9 companies to choose from, how did you choose? Why did you decide to do it??

Do You Have To Store The Umbilical Stump At A Cord Blood Bank?

I still have the stump that fell off my baby’s belly button. I didn’t store it at one of those cord blood places. If my baby should get sick in the future could they still use it If it’s just stored in a plastic baggy,

I’m having a baby girl in October and was wondering if anyone has done cord blood banking. I been thinking about it and it seems like a good idea but I’m just curious if it would work the way they say it does. Has anyone had a situation they had to use it? I know people on tv talk about them using it but I just wanted to hear from real people.
